Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Oregon Wills and Trust Planning website ("Site"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

The information provided on this Site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Use of this Site or communication through forms on this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Oregon Wills and Trust Planning or any of its attorneys.

An attorney-client relationship is only formed when a written engagement agreement has been signed by both you and the firm. Until such an agreement is in place, any information you provide through this Site is not considered confidential or privileged.

3. Services & Consultations

Our Site allows you to request consultations and submit contact inquiries. By scheduling a consultation, you agree to the following:

  • The initial consultation fee is $250, payable at the time of the appointment.
  • The consultation fee will be credited toward your estate plan if you engage our firm within 30 days.
  • We reserve the right to decline representation at our sole discretion.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid forfeiture of the consultation fee.

4. Pricing & Fees

All fees listed on this Site are approximate and subject to change. Final pricing for estate planning services will be confirmed in a written engagement agreement before any work begins. Our firm uses flat-fee pricing for most standard estate planning services, meaning you will know the total cost before we start. Complex or non-standard matters may require hourly billing, which will be clearly communicated in advance.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, articles, and software — is the property of Oregon Wills and Trust Planning and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Site and all information, content, and services provided on it are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Laws and regulations change frequently, and the information on this Site may not reflect the most current legal developments.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oregon Wills and Trust Planning, its attorneys, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this Site, including but not limited to reliance on any information obtained from this Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of this Site shall not exceed the amount you paid for services, if any.
